Set up using Capital Ambition funds, the London Ventures programme brings innovative private and third sector ideas to the public sector. The products, services and solutions in our Venture portfolio all aim to deliver significant benefits for London residents. They use cutting-edge technology to reduce costs and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public services.
Our team assesses the Ventures to ensure that they're suitable for public sector implementation. We then identify opportunities for local authorities to use these solutions to achieve savings, increase investment and deliver better outcomes for Londoners.
London Ventures is a joint partnership between EY and London Councils - the umbrella body for London local government. London Ventures is overseen by the Capital Ambition Board, which brings together all 32 London boroughs and the City of London.
The London Ventures programme works closely with local authorities, companies and investors to harness innovation and improve public services.
Local authorities: To ensure our portfolio of products and services are relevant, we continually look to local authorities to understand the key issues and challenges facing London and where improvements to service delivery can be made. Local authorities then have the opportunity to pioneer innovative solutions and concepts developed in response to these ideas.
Companies and Investors: London Ventures helps companies and investors succeed by coordinating access to the whole range of public services, managing collaboration between boroughs, and ensuring there are benefits to be achieved for local authorities and London residents.
