The funding for the London Cultural Improvement Programme came to an end in 2011. The web pages remain live to ensure that the learning and resources from the programme are still available. For an overview of the programme visit the LCIP Index.
For the duration of the London Cultural Improvement Programme the project team acted as secretariat for the London Cultural Improvement Group (LCIG) and the London Chief Cultural & Leisure Officers Association (CLOA).
LCIG was chaired by Christine Parsloe, Head of Leisure and Culture at the London Borough of Merton. The terms of reference for LCIG are available in the related documents below. The last LCIG meeting was held in March 2011, which is when the programme officially ended.
London CLOA is chaired by Toni Ainge, Deputy Director Culture and Heritage at London Borough of Bexley (correct as of July 2013). Further details can be obtained from CLOA's website.
Minutes, handouts and presentations from LCIG and London CLOA meetings from March 2010 to Sept 2011 can be downloaded on the right.
