London Councils' work in this area includes ensuring that pan-London initiatives reflect local needs and working with the Violence Against Women and Girls [VAWG] Board and MOPAC to take forward the London VAWG Strategy, including the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

             London Councils funds services for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence across the capital through its grants programme. During the 2017-2022 grants cycle, the programme supported over 17,000 survivors of domestic and sexual abuse to access crucial support.
