Taxicard Deactivation 2017

  • By StacyRands

London Councils, who manages the Taxicard scheme on behalf of all the London boroughs and the City of London, has reviewed usage of the scheme to identify Taxicard members that have not used their cards since July 2015.

The purpose of the review is to ensure that the Taxicard database is kept up to date and to remove records of members who no longer use the scheme. This will ensure that our data handling is more efficient and will prevent us from sending unnecessary information to members who no longer use the scheme.

To ensure only active users are kept on the Taxicard database, we have identified Taxicard holders who have not used their card in the last two years July 2015 - September 2017). Those members who have not used their account in that time will have their membership cancelled on or around 25th September 2017.

If you have not used the scheme since 2015 and wish to continue you can contact London Councils’ Taxicard team who will be able to advise on the process you need to follow.
