Pan London Admission Board press statement

90 per cent of London pupils starting secondary school in September have been offered a place at one of their top three schools, with 69 per cent getting their first preference school.

London’s increasing population - this year saw an increase of 5 per cent in applications - means more young people have been offered a secondary school place than ever before, as the capital's growth in demand for primary school places has begun to transfer through to secondary schools.
